Concert raises £800 for the Portsea Pantry 

A concert featuring soloist Catherine Lawlor (pictured above) playing Kabalevsky’s violin concerto has raised £800 for the Portsea Pantry.

Portsmouth South MP Stephen Morgan was in attendance at the event in the Portsmouth Philharmonic’s ‘home’ venue of the Church of the Resurrection.

An audience of more than 80 also heard George Butterworth’s ‘The Banks of Green Willow’ and Joseph Haydn’s Drumroll Symphony.
